Language changes over time and that is not a bad thing.
I do believe, however, that an overuse of slang terms can negatively affect people.
In my opinion, once slang becomes too ingratiated into someone’s vocabulary, they sound unintelligible and less intelligent than others who use proper grammar and vocabulary..
